Creation of the Bouma company
(formerly Establishments Lagrange) by Mr. Henri BOUMA, the grandfather of the current manager, specialized in the manufacture of tools for the aeronautics sector.
Takeover of the activity by the 2nd generation, Jean-Claude Bouma (father) and Christian Bouma (uncle).
Move from Clamart (92) to Buc (78), cradle of aeronautics in Ile de France and obtaining ISO 9001 certification.
Obtaining EN 9100 certification (among the first French SMEs to obtain it) and integrating electro-erosion technology with the purchase of the first wire cutting machine.
Integration of the 3rd generation of Bouma in the company (Michael Bouma, the current director) as well as a laser engraving machine in order to offer finished parts to customers.
